GREENVILLE, SC — Dr. Richard Boyd has been practicing orthodontics in the Columbia area since establishing his practice in 1984. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and attended the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) for dental school. He obtained his Master’s degree and specialty certificate in orthodontics at the University of North Carolina.
Dr. Richard Boyd is an experienced lecturer and instructor. He has been a frequent guest lecturer for the American Association of Orthodontists, served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at MUSC for over 6 years, and continues to teach as an Adjunct Faculty for Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Boyd has also served as president of the South Carolina Orthodontic Association. One of Dr. Boyd’s most notable accomplishments includes being the only Top 1% Invisalign Elite Provider in South Carolina.
